Not much on looks, but it was the longest-running bar in New York. Opened in 1721, it held on until 1996, when the barman spurned the owner. She closed it a bang, and made neighborhood news by throwing buckets of ammonia on the clients.

On Bedford Avenue and North 7th Street. The Marathon touches all 5 boroughs, and follows Bedford Avenue on the way to Queens.
