The attendees brought their camels, and also their tents. Many do their own cooking as well.

To support the fair there are all kinds of goods and services, such as vegetable stands, food stalls, pot sellers and shoemakers.

We met him outside the temple of Brahma, and he joined us for the camel fair. I didn't want to buy the fiddle on offer, but opted for a fiddle lesson instead.
