A memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh, it's a recent building, begun in 1899. It's made from white marble, and quite opulent. Inside the main hall are royal portraits and other possessions.
The roof is also marble, though covered by a flock of birds.
|Jaswant Thada: Front columns
The columns are carved from white marble, as are the screens behind them.
The window does open inside the main hall, but it's mainly a showcase for the marble carvers' art.
