I came to Beijing by train from Ulaan Baatar. It was a daytime trip, and the weather was absolutely glorious. Since my time in China was so short, seeing as much as I did from the train was great. And the added bonus was that we passed the Great Wall an hour or so before Beijing. In case I wouldn't have time to walk on the Wall, at least I could say that I had seen it.
