Resurrection gate. Actually, this really is resurrected -- it's a copy. Stalin had the original knocked down so he could parade tanks in Red Square.

And ... the Kremlin, I think it is, next to Rossiya. Rossiya was the largest hotel in the world, though now (only!) the largest in Europe. This is where I stayed.

On November 7, formerly the Communist celebration, now the "Day of Reconciliation". The police were out in force, the Communists out in farce. This was all they could muster.
