Near Red Square, under the shadow of Hotel Rossiya. English merchants were headquartered here. When Queen Elizabeth refused Ivan the Terrible's offer of marriage, he threw them out.

This is a reproduction. Stalin had the original torn down and turned into a swimming pool. When the water started to ruin the paintings in the Pushkin Museum across the street, the pool was closed.

Not the best, but the only one I got to photograph. Sadly, I didn't have time to ride around very much. The Moscow underground is an attraction in itself.
